When you have already been treated for syphilis then take a retest for HIV after six weeks. But PrEP alone is not enough. You still have to be safe while engaging in sexual intercourse.

HBsAg (ECLIA) Test regarding suggestions

Female | 38

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends using an enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) to detect the presence of hepatitis B surface antigen (HBsAg) in the blood. This test is highly sensitive and specific and is the preferred method for the diagnosis of HBsAg infection. An electro-chemiluminescence immunoassay (ECLIA) can also be used to detect HBsAg in the blood. This test is less sensitive than ELISA, but it is more specific, meaning it is less likely to give a false positive result.

I think i have skin cancer but i don’t know how to tell

Female | 14

If you suspect skin cancer, consult a dermatologist. Monitor any changes in moles or spots using the ABCDE rule. Take photos for documentation and avoid self diagnosis. A dermatologist can perform a thorough examination and potentially conduct a biopsy if necessary. Early detection is key for successful treatment.

Patient experienced pain after carrying a child on her shoulder and caused bruising in the right side of her collar near the neckline. until the bruising created a bump and eventually ruptured. The injury has healed yet after a year a change occurred where the scarring tissue is now bulging and causing discomfort to the patient

Female | 18

It looks like the person has a hernia that is linked to the previous injury. I would suggest getting an appointment with a general surgery expert for further management and evaluation of that condition.

Why my fasting blood suger level is increase when i not to eat suger added foods.

Male | 63

When you ingest the sugar-added foods, it may bring your blood sugar levels to a higher level. On the other hand, if your fasting blood sugar levels are still high even when you do not include sugar-added food, it is a symptom of some medical complications. My suggestion is that you go to an internist, who is focused on hormonal evaluations and diabetes diagnosis and treatment.

Female | 23

Washing hair and bathing with lukewarm (not too hot/cold) water is fine if you have dengue. Three days without fever or pain might mean you're improving. High fever, awful muscle/joint aches, rashes - typical dengue signs. Rest up, hydrate, and check with a doctor if concerned.
