Why Do I Have Skin Bumps, Dark Spots, Salicylic Acid Purging?

I'm 19 years old. Female. My face is full of tiny bumps, whiteheads, blackheads and dark spots.. I've been using salicylic acid from around 2 months now. But now I'm getting more tiny bumps all around my face and my face is getting dark.. is it purging or I'm using a wrong product..
